Second Chance Checking Account

Question: Who in columbus ohio gives "second chance" checking accounts?

In the past I had two bad account and need to get a fresh checking account despite my past record.

Check with local banks first and ask if they have such a product. The bank I work for has a product called "Fresh Start Checking " and it is intended for those who need a second chance. You can also try a local debt management company, they may know of banks that offer the service.

U.S. bank (Possibly no debit card) or Key bank with a debit card only account. I think you can do ach withdraws & deposit. Key bank debit card is only pin based. For key bank you are only charged a percentage for each deposit and a foreign atm withdraw fee. There may be some other fees. Two bad accounts may cause problem with either bank. You may have to wait 5 years for one to clear or find a bank that does not do checksystems. If you have government checks including VA. In the U.S. federal law requires banks to open up an EFT account. The account is restricted to Atm machine at your bank and withdraws in person. You can not make deposit except for your benefits.

Try secondchancecheckingaccount.net, they have a free state by state listing of non ChexSystems banks. Avoid second chance checking accounts that are being marketed on the internet. They charge you upwards of $500 for a "fake " checking account. Good luck
