Question: Does anyone have any information on the second chance checking account offered by us bank?

I am on Chexsystems and am in need of a checking account. I heard a rumor that US Bank offers a second chance checking account however they impose harsh stipulations on the account. Does anyone have any information on the type of second chance checking account offered by US Bank and what the stipulations are for having one? Any chance I can get a regular account while on Chexsystems with US Bank? I have been on Chex since April of this year and have significantly cleaned up my life since the time that I was placed on there due to having an overdrawn Wells Fargo account in the amount of $500.00. Any input would be much appreciated. Thanks! Wells Fargo was paid off immediately once I was contacted by their collections department after the account had been closed. I paid the collections department at a reduced, settled rate that did not include as many of the excess fees that Wells was charging me. While working with the collections workers I asked her if I paid if they would remove the closed account from Chex and she said yes however that never actually happened. The closed account is still on my Chexsystems report however I did pay it off and have a statement showing that my account was charged off and paid and is now at a $0.00 balance. |
